Crochet Solid Granny Square
Solid Square Video Tutorial
Round 1: Ch 5, join.
Round 2: Ch 3, 2 DC in chain loop, *CH 2, 3 DC, 3 times,* Ch 1, SC in beginning CH 3. (3 DC)
Round 3: Ch 3, 1 DC in space below, DC in each DC across, 2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC in CH 2 Loop, repeat around, end the corner point the same as in round 2. (7 DC)Repeat for each round that you want to make your granny square larger. 4 DC will be added on each side with every 2DC, CH 2, 2 DC corner.This is how many DC will be in each row as it gets larger.
Round 4: 11 DC total
Round 5: 15 DC total
Round 6: 19 DC total

I love the solid granny square but I need 1/2 of one. I know you put the pattern up of the open 1/2 granny. Is it possible to do this with a solid Granny Square?
