Round 1: CH 2 (does not count as stitch), 12 DC through the chain loop, join.

Round 2: CH 2 (does not count as stitch), 2 DC in ea DC around. (24 Double Crochet Total)

Round 3: Ch 2, 1 DC, CH 2, 2 DC, in the same space. Skip 1 DC, * 2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC, sk the next DC, complete 11 times from*, join.

Round 4: SL ST to CH 2 SP. CH 3, 2 DC, CH 2, 3 DC in CH 2 space. * 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC in the next CH 2 space. Complete 11 times total from *, join.

Round 5: SL ST to CH 2 SP. CH 3, 2 DC, CH 2, 3 DC in CH 2 space CH 1 * 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC in the next CH 2 space, CH 1. Complete 11 times total from *, join.

Puff Stitch:

1. Wrap the yarn over your hook, insert the hook through the stitch or space. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull through. There will be 3 loops on the hook.
   
2. Wrap the yarn over your hook. Insert the hook through the same stitch or space. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull through. There will be 5 loops on the hook.
   
3. Wrap the yarn over your hook. Insert the hook through the same stitch or space. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull through. There will be 7 loops on the hook.
   
4. Wrap the yarn over your hook. Insert the hook through the same stitch or space. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull through. There will be 9 loops on the hook.
   
5. Wrap the yarn over your hook and pull the yarn through all 9 loops to complete the puff stitch.

Round 1: CH1, pulling up to make a long chain. This chain will be done at the start of each round and is the step up to complete the full puff stitch. *Through the chain do a Puff stitch, CH 2, 3 times total from *. Puff Stitch chain 1, SC in beginning Puff Stitch. The single crochet will count as part of the chain 2. It is done so we end in the corner of the square.

Round 2: CH1, pulling up to make a long chain. Do a Puff Stitch in the beginning ch 2 space, CH 1.
*In the next CH 2 SP, Puff Stitch, CH 2 Puff Stitch, CH 1 complete 3 times total from *. In the beginning CH do a Puff Stitch, CH 1, SC in beginning Puff Stitch.

Round 3: CH1, pulling up to make a long chain. Do a Puff Stitch in the beginning ch 2 space, CH 1. *In the next CH 1 space do a Puff Stitch, CH 1.
